New Mexico is bringing out the artist in me.

I haven't ever in my life felt a real desire to paint anything. I love to look at beautiful paintings - Vincent Van Gogh, Sir Frederic Leighton, and Leonardo DaVinci are among my favorite artists.

It's warming up! I saw children sledding on a hill just outside my living room window, but there really wasn't much snow around. They had to search out that one patch, for sure!

I hope we have snow for Christmas. I'm finally back where the snow is, and I want a white Christmas for sure!

Wow, what a cold, clear morning!

I saw the Milky Way last night - so clear and beautiful. And this morning I woke to the cold crisp morning sun to one of those best, bluest sky days of winter.
